This 2-5/16-inch gooseneck hitch ball is compatible with the Ram Puck System and Curt 60629 installation kit.It fits select Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 models equipped with the factory towing prep package, as well as OEM-style gooseneck hitches.The ball installs easily using a quarter-turn latch system and includes a lever with two retention balls to securely lock the shank into place.To remove, lift the lever and rotate a quarter-turn to release.Constructed from forged and machined steel with a plated finish for resistance to corrosion, it supports a gross trailer weight of up to 30, 000 lbs and a vertical load capacity of 7, 500 lbs (ratings limited by the lowest-rated component in the towing system).The design allows for quick installation and removal, maintaining full bed functionality when not in use.Compatible with standard 2-5/16-inch gooseneck couplers.
