Honeywell Home PROSIXFLOOD - Encrypted Wireless Flood Detection Sensor

The Honeywell Home PROSIXFLOOD is a wireless flood sensor that is used with the Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS Panel. The sensor comes with a detachable Honeywell FP280 Probe for detecting water and leaks. An alert will be sent to the security system within 15 seconds of detecting liquid. A serious flood can result in thousands of dollars in damage. By using flood sensors, you can get an alert when the issue is just starting. This will allow you to take action before the damage becomes too serious. Many users combine flood sensors like the PROSIXFLOOD with smart water valves so that they can build smart scenes to shut off the water supply automatically when a leak is detected. If the system is monitored with access to Total Connect 2.0, then the user can get text and/or email alerts regarding an activated flood sensor. The detachable Honeywell FP280 Probe that connects with the PROSIXFLOOD measures 15 feet in length. Having the PROSIXFLOOD as a wireless sensor gives you greater flexibility in choosing an installation location and ultimately determining where you will place the probe. All communications between the PROSIXFLOOD and the PROA7PLUS are sent using 128-bit AES encryption for enhanced wireless security. The sensor can communicate with the PROA7PLUS from more than 300 feet away in an open air environment. The Honeywell Home PROSIXFLOOD uses a single lithium 3V CR123A battery for power. This is also known as a "camera battery". The expected battery life for the sensor is about five (5) years. The panel will display a low-battery trouble condition when the battery needs to be replaced. There is an LED on the sensor that assists with device enrollment. The PROSIXFLOOD also offers RF supervision and tamper detection. The dimensions for the PROSIXFLOOD are 3.13"L x 1.61"W x 1"H.
