This listing features a beautiful and finely detailed Vintage UNCAS Five Horse Head pin brooch in Sterling Silver. It is quite unusual to find Five Horse heads in a pin brooch making this pin a very collectible item.
The pin is a lovely depiction of five horse heads with ears up straight, braided manes, bridle and reins in place. There are very faint traces of red enamel in the eyes of the horses, hard to see without magnification. The pin has a rolling C clasp closure that is in perfect working condition. The pin is in excellent vintage condition most likely from the 50’s or 60’s. The pin has a rich patina to it that enhances the overall beauty of this item. I did not remove any of the tarnish, as not to damage the item.
The approximate measurement from left to right is 2 3/8 . The approximate measurement from top to bottom (width) is 1/2 . The back of the pin is stamped Sterling with the maker's mark U (UNCAS) in between two arrows.
